Miami 2011: Swedish House Mafia Brings Masquerade Motel to the Beachfront
(0)Consisting of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello, the Swedish House Mafia is a true electronic music supergroup, and they are known for consistently producing big room bangers like “One” and “Leave the World Behind“. For Miami, this year, they went all out and set up an amazing 10,000+ person venue on the sand in Miami Beach for their Masquerade Motel event, the name of their immense popular Monday night at Pacha, Ibiza. We were fortunate enough to attend and captured the video clips below.

2010 Winter Music Conference Favorites
(0)The 2010 Winter Music Conference was a remarkable week where we experienced amazing live sets showcasing the best talent in electronic dance music. Here were some of the highlights for us.
- Afrojack: Without a doubt, this DJ is a rising star. He has been collaborating with and has the support of some of the best talent in the industry including David Guetta and Steve Aoki. We caught him dropping two killer new tracks at the Crobar Pool Party, and I can’t wait to see what he delivers over the next year. Afrojack Video Clips
- Wolfgang Gartner: Wolfgang is another DJ whose popularity is on the rise. Seeing him spin his hit track “Undertaker” at Mansion showed us why. Click here for footage
- Orbital: I first saw Orbital over a decade ago. It was one of those awe inspiring shows you remember for life. That being said, I did not know what to expect from their Ultra performance after all this time. Thankfully I was not disappointed in the least. These dance music pioneers showed that they can still deliver with a show using an array of gear including a vintage modular synth and innovative video projection . Hearing the classics Chime, Halcyon + On + On, and Dr. Who live again was truly special. Video of Orbital at Ultra 2010
We are already counting down the days to WMC 2011.
